Getting StartedThe GIOM-U8X3 is a USB powered fully isolated I/O module. The on-board power supply draws power from the USB host port to power the USB interface circuit and the isolated I/O circuit. The isolated power supply can provide up to 400mA current. The GIOM-U8X3 uses USB HID (Human Interface Device) protocol to communicate with USB host. USB host should recognize the GIOM-U8X3 as a HID immediately after it is connected. |
